Connecting people, not just data!
Collaborate with the NJBDA as a member and join the effort to provide access, expertise, education, networking and engagement across disciplines, industry sectors and domains of data and computing sciences.
Join New Jersey’s first and only legislatively-designated consortium of universities in advanced computing!
To qualify as an academic member, your institution must:
- Be a two-year or four-year institution of higher education in New Jersey;
- Include the presence of a program that teaches courses and/or conducts research in the area of Big Data and/or Advanced Computing; and
- Appoint a representative (s) who is willing and able to participate in monthly conference calls and volunteer to work on one or more NJBDA initiatives.
Benefits of Academic Membership:
- Provide input and guidance on academic course development, topics for training and workshops, research needs and the strategic direction of the NJBDA.
- Participate in monthly NJBDA phone calls and semi-annual meetings
- Contribute to the organization of the NJBDA symposium.
- Only academic members have voting rights.

Access to university tech/talent

- Provide strategic guidance in the development of executive education curriculum and relevant computing and analytics workshops

Government agencies are welcome to join the NJBDA as ad hoc members.

There is no membership fee for government agencies who wish to be ad-hoc members of the NJBDA.
