Director of Rutgers University’s Discovery Informatics Institute Manish Parashar appointed Director for the National Science Foundation Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure; Delivers keynote at 2018 Internet2 Global Summit.

Earlier this year the National Science Foundation appointed Professor Manish Parashar as the Office Director for the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC).  OAC supports and coordinates the development, acquisition, and provisioning of state-of-the-art cyberinfrastructure resources, tools and services essential to the advancement and transformation of science and engineering.   Also, in May of this year, Dr. Parashar delivered the keynote address at the 2018 Internet2 Global Summit in San Diego. His talk “Realizing a Cyberinfrastructure Ecosystem that Transforms Science” was attended by nearly 1000 high-level IT professionals.  Additional information on the Internet2 Global Summit is available here.
