What is an Externship?
Externships are opportunities for students to gain real-world experience in their field. Externships through this partner program are provided by the Rutgers Masters of Business and Science (MBS) Externship Exchange Program and the NJBDA via a grant from the US Economic Development Administration (US-EDA). COMPETITIONS
UBS Pitch is a competition for New Jersey university students designed to give them the chance to create innovative solutions to real business problems, while building relationships with UBS. Teams of up to 5 students (both undergraduate and graduate) will use data science and Machine Learning to answer a business question provided by UBS, and will present their solutions to judges at a final event, for a chance to win prizes. Students will be mentored by UBS leaders, and will have the opportunity to expand their professional networks.
2023 NextGen Data Science Hackathon
Opportunity for undergraduates to work with real consumer data and show off their data science skills for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize
Open to undergraduates in any major.
The virtual hackathon is scheduled for February 24th to March 6th, 2023 – but students are urged to sign up today to receive updates, guidance, and ideas for preparing. Teams that sign up by in advance will be eligible for an extra prize.
