The UBS Pitch Competition is designed to provide students (undergraduate and graduate level) from participating universities in the US an opportunity to use their skills to build innovative solutions to problems faced by the financial industry and government bodies. Problem Statement:
UBS is striving to be at the forefront of ESG and sustainability creating opportunities to better serve our clients. The goal is to invest with a systematic and explicit inclusion of ESG risks with the intention to enhance risk-adjusted returns. Participants are expected to create a model to build and rebalance investment portfolios that meet investors’ expectations in terms of returns and risk tolerances and are based on ESG evaluation guidelines.
To enter, each team member needs to register their interest.
Timelines:
- January 2023 – Info-sessions will be hosted
- February 2023 – Team registrations due in early Feb.
- March 2023 – Initial project proposals
- May 2023 – Final Pitch Competition
