The theme of the event was Building the Workforce Pipeline for a Data-Driven Economy. Keynote speakers were Stephen Ezell, Vice President, Global Innovation Policy, Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and Florence D. Hudson, Executive Director, Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub at Columbia University. The symposium also included an industry panel discussion, workshops on cybersecurity skills and education pipeline, and cutting-edge research presentations.
2023 NJBDA Annual Symposium
Seton Hall UniversityThe 10th Annual NJBDA symposium took place on May 9, 2023, hosted by Seton Hall University. The theme of the event was Big Data in FinTech. Keynote speakers were Kjersten Margaret Moody, Chief Data Officer, Prudential; George Calhoun, Professor and Founding Director of the Quantitative Finance Program, Stevens Institute of Technology; and Marc Rind, Chief Technology Officer – Data, Fiserv.
